A band from former Yougoslavia making Italo disco.
The crème de la crème of the spirit of italo disco in the second half of the 80s is summed up and copied in this clip: the girl has something to her that harks back to Sandra (of Maria Magdalena fame) and the guy with the keytar and curly hair is the perfect cheap alternative to Sandy Marton, all packed up into a Stock-Aitken-Waterman soundalike track to top it all. Fabulous!
sounds like bananarama - love in first degree
I really like this song..finally a video to match as well. thank you for sharing this one. One of the best Italo song still remains a classic!!
Sandy Marton was a bit cheap himself. But I agree, great song and video! Big hit in Japan. Have you heard the Japanese version by Wink? It’s on here somewhere…
Does anybody know if a video exists for Moulin Rouge’s “DJ I Wanna Be Your Record”?
Does anybody know the lyrics of this song?
Slovenian duo! Great!
Moulin Rouge is 100% slovenian group…
Leader of the group was Matjaž Kosi… singer was Alenka Šmit…
They produced music in slovenian and english…
SOOOOOOOOO Bananarama…. and I totally love it!
sweet!
i never thought its slovenian staff.
is that a dead or alive cover ?
the verses sounds like sinitta - cross my broken heart. and the riff from bananarama “love in the 1st degree”.lol.
From SLOVENIJA
Ja bend je zažigov v osemdesetih.
Ne pa zdej kr eni komadi.
I noticed that, too!
Matjaž Kosi.
Jebi se čefur
Jebi se čefur
Sing and sounds better than Bananarama!
